Shelf life of almonds Natural almonds can be stored for two years or more when their freshness and shelf life are maximized by placing them in the refrigerator or freezer. Roasted almonds can stay in good condition for up to one year in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Maintaining almond quality during long-term storage under ambient conditions is a challenge in emerging export markets, such as China, which may have highly variable temperatures and relative humidities, depending on season and region. The shed is not heated, so from autumn (autumn), when almonds are harvested, until spring, the temperatures there do not exceed 12 °C. The truth is that it is difficult to say precisely how long almonds last, since the recommendations are a bit exaggerated.
That means you need to make sure that the almonds aren't exposed to hot temperatures, changes in temperature or humidity. As with raw almonds, if the package can't be resealed, transfer the nuts to something that's there after you open it. And while stale nuts are not dangerous to eat, what I recommend is to throw away stale almonds for quality reasons.
